They are also equipped with integral dovetail rails for secure scope mounting.
Sako 85 headsets are available in six different sizes (CSA), ensuring reliable operation for each caliber. All Sako 85 models have a controlled cartridge feed (RCS) to avoid double feed or cartridge jams. The latch handle brings the hand into a natural position during latch operation, allowing for quick, repeated firing.
The staggered double-row magazine of the Sako 85 is made of stainless steel. The removable magazine can also be loaded through the ejection port. The patent-pending Total Control Latch on the Sako 85 prevents accidental release of the magazine. The ergonomics of the walnut and synthetic shafts of Sako 85 ensures optimal shooting posture. The excellent balance and smooth operation of Sako 85 rifles allow for fast, straight and precise operation.
