Optimized Hunter 40 Variants Are No Longer Available with Mesh Inserts:
Our research and development showed that the benefits of stainless steel mesh inserts only become significant above a certain level of gas pressure and volume, especially if certain design elements of the suppressor are also adapted. Because air rifles, rimfire, and even Hornet-type centrefire cartridges simply do not achieve the mentioned gas threshold, we implemented the design changes and removed the mesh inserts in the new generation. For applications such as air rifles, rimfire, and even Hornet-type centrefire cartridges, our latest model shows no significant performance difference compared to the previous version. However, the new version features a lighter weight and a more compact design.
Optimized Coating of the New Hunter Generation (MK-X):
All models of the new Hunter generation benefit from an optimized anodized coating, enhancing corrosion resistance, hardness, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, as well as appearance and feel. This innovative technology was developed in collaboration with our partner to maximize aluminum protection against external influences. Important: An intact anodized layer and care and maintenance remain essencial to ensure maximum longevity of any Aluminium suppressor. A thorough and complete drying process is mandatory after every use. Please carefully follow the instructions included in the manual.
