STEINER Nighthunter Xtreme - Tactical & Military rifle scopes
At the IWA-Show 2012 in Nuremberg, STEINER Germany launched his own range of rifle scopes. Constructed and manufactured in Bayreuth - Germany. Steiner rifle scopes are definately high-end products.
The new Nighthunter Xtreme rifle scopes offer suitable models that are usable for all hunting purposes.

All modelsare 2FP and have 30mm tubes and are available with or without an integral mounting rail. A choice of illuminated reticles is available.
The new Tactical rifle scopes are suitable for Hunting and Competition use.

With the above models, the binocular-specialist STEINER-Optik ( already the worlds premier supplier of binoculars to Military, Police and Marine customers) expands its legendary binocular-program to become an allround Optics manufacturer. It is now possible to have Binoculars and Scope from one and the same manufacturer, all Made in Germany.
The variable rifle scopes have a five-power zoom ratio, making them very versatile. Furthermore, the five time zoom-ratio guarantees a robust construction and very high reliability of the scope. With this zoom-ratio, a perfect optic is possible, especially with very high edge-to-edge sharpness and a very high brilliance. All Nighthunter Xtreme scopes have exeptionally wide fields of view for hunting purposes. The long eye relief of nine centimeters (3.6 Inches) guarantees safety, even when shooting with high-power Magnum Calibers.
Priorities for the engineers during the construction phase were utter reliability, perfect ergonomics, ruggedness, total dependability and an outstanding clarity of optic.
The scopes have highly precise mechanics and exceptionaly brilliant optics which meets and exceeds the highest demands.
STEINER Diamond-Night-Coating, a new multi layer coating, results in unprecedented light transmission values. A transmission of over 94 % for daytime and over 93 % for nighttime was measured. These high light transmission figures compare exceptionaly well with other leading manufacturers.
The brilliant optic produces a very bright and extremely sharp image, with very high sharpness from edge to edge. Also the contrast is very high and colors are true and natural. The scattered light is minimal. The newly calculated optic and coating produces previously unattainable results for brightness, contrast, brilliance and sharpness.
The rifle scopes feature the STEINER Nano-Protection. This provides the outside surfaces of the lenses with a dirt- and water-repellent finish.The ultra-fine hydrophobic coating on the outside surfaces of the objective and ocular lens is extremely rugged, protecting them against aggressive environmental influences. Also, cleaning is simple.
